THE FINALS! THE FINALS! THE FINALS!
SATURDAY, JUNE 2nd
We're going to the FINALS! We still can't believe it, so let's say it again. WE'RE GOING TO THE FINALS! What a season! Catwalkblue has played over 50 shows at the Q for the 2006-07 season and it looks like it will culminate with a trip to the hallowed grounds of the NBA Finals! Tonight was amazing. After coming off a performance for the ages from Lebron James in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Cavs closed out the Pistons with a constant barrage of 3 pointers from Daniel "Boobie" Gibson in tonight's Game 6. Check out the picture to the right (courtesy of CAVS.COM) which shows the eruption that took place at the Q after the final buzzer! Catwalkblue is ready to rock the finals and help propel the Cavs to the motherland. LET'S GO CAVS!

CANTON HERE WE COME
SATURDAY, JANUARY 27th @ MARTINI 7
1.19.07 - In 2004 CWB added a saxophonist who had a great reputation in the Cleveland area. His solos were some of the best around, his energy stole many shows, and his rockstar image was everywhere. Since adding Keith Mitchell McKelley CWB has had the opportunity to attract legions of his fans, and has had the pleasure of witnessing his talent first hand. On Saturday, January 27th CWB will travel to the birthplace of Keith - also known as Canton, OH - to play at the fantastic 7 Martini Lounge. The show will be packed as Canton always comes out to support Keith! Come check out the band and check out Keith in his hometown, and check the shows page for some other upcoming shows.

The Free Times has always been a great supporter of CWB and we'd like to send out our sincere thanks. A GREAT SEASON COMES TO AN END
5.23.06 - First off - a big standing ovation for the CAVS. We couldn't be prouder of the season that Lebron and the gang had down at the Quicken Loans Arena this year. It was an honor to be a part of the magic all season long - and an honor to play in front of so many of you all. Thanks once again for taking in some CWB music throughout the season. We're going to step outside of the friendly confines of the Q to play an upcoming FREE show - to thank all of you for checking us out this season. The band will be playing an upcoming show for all of the public to see... at BOSSA NOVA on the east side of Cleveland (near Beachwood / Shaker Hts) on May 26th. Check out the SHOWS PAGE for more details. The show is this Friday - so make sure you come out to check out THE OFFICIAL BAND OF THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS.

CATWALKBLUE PLAYS THROUGH PLAYOFFS AND MAKES STOPS OUTSIDE OF THE Q
5.2.06 - Catwalkblue is still very much helping your CAVS power through the NBA playoffs. The Washington Wizards prove to be tough competition - but CWB will be right there playing help side defense on Gilbert Arenas throughout the series. However - the band is also stepping outside of the Quicken Loans Arena to play some upcoming shows. The band is honored to be playing at the HOUSE OF BLUES in Cleveland for a very special private performance on May 12th. However - the band will be playing an upcoming show for all of the public to see... at BOSSA NOVA on the east side of Cleveland (near Beachwood / Shaker Hts) on May 26th. Check out the SHOWS PAGE for more details.

CAVS WIN 50 GAMES WITH THE HELP OF CATWALKBLUE
4.19.06 - Well the Regular season wrapped up today and man was it a blast! Catwalkblue led the CAVS to an upcoming 4th Seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs while wrapping up a 50-32 record on the year. It looks like the Cavs will entertain Gilbert Arenas and Washington Wizards for their first playoff series since 1998. It's no secret that the Cavs were tough to play at home... mostly thanks to the funk-inspired fans who were able to witness Catwalkblue before the games! Please come out and support your CLEVELAND CAVALIERS and your CATWALKBLUE band throughout the playoffs!!
COME ON CAVS!

CURRENT RECORD @ CWB HOME GAMES: 31-10

CWB HELPS LEBRON WIN 2006 ALL-STAR GAME MVP AWARD
2.21.06 - What a weekend! After a great performance in the first half of the season, the Catwalkblue band felt a bit slighted to not be named to the 2006 All-star team. "We rocked the Q night in and night out... and yeah, we feel like we should be down in Houston for the game" said Catwalkblue's road staff manager - Kenny. The band was not awarded a spot... but Lebron James was - and he responded by winning the MVP award. Sure, the award may have 'technically' been given to Lebron James... but I think we all know that he wouldn't have been able to perform at such a high level were he not inspired by the groove-rich music of CWB. I ask you... How many All-Star game MVP's did Lebron win BEFORE Catwalkblue played at every Cavs' home game? ZERO! You're very welcome Lebron! The CAVS had a great first half of the season - and we're all lucky to be a part of it! Please come out and support your CLEVELAND CAVALIERS and your CATWALKBLUE band!!

A NEW YEAR - CATWALKBLUE STILL UP TO SAME OLD TRICKS
1.17.06 - Well the end of 2006 certainly brought some great tidings! The CAVS rocked the Detroit Pistons and the Browns took down the Baltimore Ravens - starting 2006 off in capital fashion! Early 2006 has seen a crucial injury to Larry Hughes - but Catwalkblue is picking up the slack by expanding the stage down at the Quicken Loans Arena! CWB will now be rocking on a HUGE stage - just outside of the Team Shop. So come on down to the Q - and COME ON CAVS!

GREAT TIMES AT CLUB 2527!
12.12.05 - So Friday (Dec. 9th) didn't get off to a great start when Vince Carter almost single-handedly beat the CAVS giving them two losses on the year at home. However, that didn't stop CWB from putting together an impressive Friday night of music. The band started over at the Q - getting the fans ready for the game, and then headed down to Club 2527 for a jazzy holiday show. Big Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the music - especially all of our special guest musicians! We'll be back down at the Q on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday of this week... so COME ON CAVS!

THINGS STILL GOING WELL AT THE Q!
12.7.05 - So the T-Wolves came to town and broke up the CAVS perfect season - but things are still going very well at the Quicken Loans Arena. CWB is still playing at every single CAVS home game and working people up into a frenzy before they enter the house that Lebron built! We'll be down there for some big-time upcoming matchups including the MIAMI HEAT and the DETROIT PISTONS coming to town during December. COME ON CAVS!

CHICAGO ROCKED - and 6-0???
11.21.05 - What a weekend! The weekend started off with CWB and a balanced CAVS attack taking down the overmatched Orlando Magic at the Quicken Loans Arena. The game was close to start - until Greg Garwood led Catwalkblue with an inspired guitar solo on the CWB favorite - "The Man With Nothing". The CAVS responded by drubbing the Magic for their 5th straight home win!

On saturday night - Catwalkblue teamed with some of Chicago's finest bands to rock WISE FOOLS PUB to a packed house! The band headlined the night with a 90-minute set featuring several CWB originals and a new version of Soulive's 'Doin Something'. THANKS to all the fine people of Chicago for coming out to witness our show - and we'll see all of you again soon!

CLEVELAND TEAMS UNDEFEATED AT CWB HOME GAMES
11.7.05 - This past week - CWB played at both the Cavs' Home Opener vs. the Hornets and the Browns' showdown with the Titans. It's surely no coincidence that both teams won their respective gams - mainly due to the inspired performances from CWB. The Cavs were on fire as Lebron James nailed 5 consecutive threes at one point - and the Browns got their first rushing touchdown in almost a year! We'd like to send out a special CWB recognition to Reuben Droughns for battling through a tough week to have a 100+ yard rushing game! The Cavs return home this Wednesday to take on the Ray Allen-led Seattle Supersonics - and CWB will be there to seal a victory again!

CWB SIGNS 1-YR CONTRACT WITH THE CAVS!!!
11.2.05 - That's right! Catwalkblue has signed a one-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. CATWALKBLUE WILL BE PLAYING AT ALL 41 HOME GAMES THIS SEASON - TO GET THE CAVS' FANS READY TO ROCK AT THE "Q". When the gates open (1.5 hours before the games) head straight to the Team Shop area - and you'll find the guys from CWB playing their unique brand of jazz-rock for the faithful fans. You can now add the names of Greg Garwood, Matt Miller, Eric Selner, Keith McKelley, and Myron Gardner to the long list of great Cavs contributors such as John "Hot Rod" Williams, Bobby "Bingo" Smith, and Ricky "I shoot at the wrong basket" Davis. The 1.5 hour long shows will feature Catwalkblue playing originals from their debut EP and their live cd: LIVE @ CBGB's. So grab your CAVS tickets and come check out Catwalkblue... make sure you click HERE for the hottest team in CLEVELAND!
